Eric Carle

ERIC CARLE est né en 1929 à Syracuse, dans l'état de New York. Durant plusieurs années, il exerce à New York son métier d'illustrateur avant de produire son premier succès : « La chenille qui fait des trous ». Publié en 1968, traduit en plus de 45 langues, le livre s'est vendu à des millions d'exemplaires à travers le monde. Depuis cette date, la carrière d'Eric Carle est jalonnée de succès de librairie internationaux et de prestigieuses récompenses.
